The 85th-anniversary awards ceremony for the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America (UCCA) was held on June 10th, 2025, at the Dirksen Senate Building with the participation of Ukrainian Ambassador Oksana Markarova, Yekaterian Yuschenko (ex-Ukraine’s First Lady), and President of the UCCA, Michael Sawkiw. The awards were followed by the speech of highly respected guests Senator Blumenthal, Representative Wilson, and Ambassador Herbst.
